Control Panel Estimator

We are currently recruiting for an Estimator to work as part of our commercial teams, reporting to our Midsomer Norton office, with potential flexibility to work from other regional offices.

As an Estimator working for Bridges, your key purpose is to estimate costs in line with clients’ requirements for MCC and control panel related projects, including DfMA assemblies. You will be a key part of the business winning work while maintaining profit margins, supporting the wider internal stakeholder team, and liaising with external stakeholders.

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare estimates.
• Attend site visits to undertake surveys.
• Produce accurate quotations.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Dynamic and specialist experience in an engineering/manufacturing/fabrication/production sector.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering or contracting services.
• Understanding of Principal Designer and Principal Contractor responsibilities under CDM.
• Experience working from client specifications.
• Knowledge of control panels & MCCs (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

• Engineering qualification (electrical/mechanical) (highly desirable).
• Experience working within the water industry.
