I’m seeking a reliable individual to work on a permanent basis for a small but busy print company based in Midsomer Norton. Due to increased workload and continued growth, this established business is welcoming extra permanent staff to join them in their production department.

You must have prior proven experience working as a Lithographic Printer;
Up to 5 colour print.

This is to work on a double shift basis on a 37.5 hour week. Overtime maybe available, this is paid at a time and a third.

Morning shift:
Mon – Fri 6am – 1.30pm

Afternoon

Shift: Mon – Wed 1.30pm – 10pm, Thurs 1.30pm – 8pm, Fri 1.30pm – 7pm

Salary: £30,888.00 per annum

The Job:

* Setting up and maintaining a print press machine to a high standard and efficiently to ensure swift change overs

* Remove waste materials and dispose of them correctly

* Assisting in stripping back and cleaning machines to a high standard

* Load paper reels on and off machines

* Monitor materials

* Continually quality check products and act on any imperfections immediately

* Daily machine checks, Identifying safety hazards and reporting

To be considered you will need:

* Good degree of dexterity in order to maintain speed

* Print experience

* Ability to work from instructions

* Good time management skills

* Self-motivated

* Troubleshooting skills

* Quality conscious

* Excellent housekeeping skills
