We are currently seeking an Associate Procurement Director for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Rahway, NJ (hybrid). Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:- Pay: $75 - 93.01/hr (W2)
- 22-month assignment
- Hybrid position in Rahway, NJ
- You will partner with North America business leaders to align procurement strategies with business growth, transformation, and operational objectives
- Lead strategic sourcing, optimization, and procurement transformation initiatives across indirect spend categories
- Manage sourcing projects end-to-end, from strategy development and RFx execution through implementation and benefit realization
- Drive measurable value through cost optimization, supplier consolidation, process improvements, and productivity gains
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships focused on innovation, service excellence, and business continuity
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance governance
- Partner with Global Category Management and cross-functional teams on regional procurement initiatives across North America
- Utilize data and analytics to support procurement decisions, stakeholder reporting, and performance tracking
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management
- Indirect procurement experience required
- Demonstrated success leading regional and cross-functional sourcing initiatives
- Strong experience managing end-to-end RFx processes
- Experience across multiple indirect procurement categories
- Strong supplier management, commercial negotiation, and contract management experience
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable results such as cost savings, supplier consolidation, process efficiencies, or productivity improvements
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including Excel and reporting/dashboard capabilities
- Experience working within a large corporate or global matrixed organization
