Auxiliary Operator – Reworld Waste

Position Overview:

As an Auxiliary Operator, you will work in collaboration with our facility control room to operate and inspect various power plant systems safely and efficiently to ensure the operational effectiveness of Reworld’s industrial disposal process.

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures, including boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems, and heavy industrial equipment.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators, and electrical devices.
• Read and interpret data from meters, gauges, and industrial measuring tools to identify trends and potential equipment disruptions that impact facility operations.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform material sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment including cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts.
• Maintain correct levels of refuse‑fuel in operations equipment and ensure appropriate refuse mix in designated pits and areas of operation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

• Competitive base salary (expected hourly rate: $33.63–$38.00).

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Qualification to wear a full‑face respirator.
• Consistently work in various weather conditions.
