Bartenders prepare and serve beverages and food to guests. With extensive knowledge of common drinks, cocktails, beers, and wines, you will be in charge of managing drink orders at our Hilton hotel restaurant lounge. Experienced bartender with server background required for this high energy lounge. Great tips in a trendy dining venue in the heart of downtown Rahway NJ.

• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to bend, reach, and repeat motions.
• Ability to lift stock up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Mix and serve alcohol and non-alcohol drinks for guests following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions.
• Take food & drink orders for guests. Service guests at the bar and/or at the tables per shift.
• Serve alcohol beverages responsibility, request identification, and adhere to all company alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Enter food & drink orders into the POS system, collect payment from guests for drinks served, and make correct change.
• Complete sales and inventory reports accurately.
• Maintain bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies.
• Clean and store bar equipment and bar stock.
• Be a team player.
• Handle disputes properly per Hilton standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant required; hotel experience preferred.
• Bartender school background preferred or extensive bartender on the job experience.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
