Job Summary
Navodaya Central School is seeking a passionate and committed  PGT Social Science Teacher  to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering critical thinking, and creating an engaging learning environment for senior secondary students. The role requires strong subject expertise, effective classroom management skills, and a genuine interest in supporting students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects such as History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Sociology as per the prescribed curriculum.
Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessment strategies.
Create an engaging and interactive classroom environment that promotes student participation and learning.
Assess, evaluate, and monitor student progress through tests, examinations, projects, and assignments.
Provide academic guidance and constructive feedback to students.
Maintain student attendance, academic records, and performance reports.
Prepare students for board examinations and competitive academic activities.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic reviews, and school events.
Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the institution.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications
Master's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, or a related Social Science discipline.
B.Ed. from a recognized university/institution.
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE, ICSE, or equivalent curriculum.
Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using technology-enabled teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
