Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified and passionate professionals to join Navodaya college of Agriculture as Assistant Professors in the disciplines of Horticulture, Agronomy, Soil Science and Agricultural Extension. The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching students, conducting research, guiding student projects, participating in extension activities, and contributing to the academic and institutional development of the college.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver theory and practical classes in the relevant discipline.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and academic assessments.
- Guide students in practical, laboratory, field, and project work.
- Conduct and publish research in the relevant field of specialization.
- Participate in extension activities, farmer outreach programs, workshops, and training programs.
- Mentor students and support their academic and professional development.
- Assist in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and academic administration.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, conferences, and institutional committees.
- Maintain academic records and comply with institutional policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s and master’s Degree (M.Sc. Agriculture) in relevant discipline with Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in the postgraduate degree.
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline will be preferred.
- ASRB-NET qualification will be preferred as per institutional norms.
- Prior teaching, research, or extension experience will be an added advantage.
