About the Role  Navodaya Education Trust is looking for a dynamic, visionary, and experienced academic leader to serve as  Principal  for its upcoming Agricultural College in Karnataka.
The Principal will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, academic excellence, and operational excellence in alignment with ICAR, UGC, and Government of Karnataka guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic and administrative leadership to the institution.
Ensure high-quality teaching, research, and extension activities in agriculture and allied sciences.
Oversee curriculum implementation, examinations, and student development programs.
Build strong industry linkages, MoUs, and placement opportunities for students.
Ensure compliance with ICAR, UGC, and state regulatory norms.
Lead faculty development, research promotion, and institutional accreditation efforts.
Manage infrastructure, budget, and day-to-day administration of the college.
Qualifications &

Experience:

Ph.D. in Agriculture or Allied Sciences (preferred).
Minimum  10–15 years  of teaching/research experience, out of which at least  5 years  at Professor or equivalent level.
Proven leadership and administrative experience in an agricultural college or university.
Strong understanding of ICAR, UGC, and Karnataka State regulations.
Excellent communication, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
