Accounting Associate

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible  Accounting Associate  with at least  3 years of experience in Indian accounting practices . The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, good communication skills, and hands-on experience using  Zoho Books . This role requires someone who can manage financial records accurately and support the finance team in daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Prepare invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledgers.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Support GST-related documentation and filings when required.
Coordinate with internal teams for financial documentation and approvals.
Generate financial reports and summaries for management.
Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Education:

B.Com/M.Com
Preferred:  Semi-qualified  CA or CMA
Minimum  3+ years of experience in Indian Accounting
Hands-on experience with  Zoho Books
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
