Resident Medical Officer (BAMS) - Multi Speciality Hospital | Raipur, Chhattisgarh (Onsite)
Industry: Healthcare — Multispeciality hospital & clinical services. Serving inpatient and outpatient populations across general medicine, emergency care and allied specialties in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. We deliver integrated clinical care using evidence based Ayurvedic practice alongside modern hospital workflows.
Role & Responsibilities
Provide onsite clinical assessment and management of patients in OPD and IPD using Ayurvedic diagnostic principles and integrated care plans.
Conduct daily ward rounds, document findings, write prescriptions, and maintain accurate clinical records in the hospital EMR.
Triage emergency presentations, deliver initial stabilization and basic life support, and coordinate timely referrals to specialty teams.
Assist in and perform minor procedures and wound care as per hospital protocol; escalate complex cases to senior clinicians.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, surgeons, nursing, physiotherapy) to ensure seamless patient handovers and continuity of care.
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection control standards, and hospital policies; participate in audits and quality improvement activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must Have
BAMS degree from a recognised university
Prior clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient/inpatient setting
Proficiency in Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment planning
Emergency triage and initial stabilisation skills
Competence with clinical documentation and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Ability to manage routine minor procedures and wound care
Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent emergency care certification
Previous RMO or wardbased experience in a multispeciality hospital
Familiarity with multidisciplinary referral workflows and patient discharge planning
