Learning for students seeking opportunities in Germany. We are looking for an expert to build
our complete German curriculum and learning journey inside the Leap Scholar App.
Role Overview :
We are seeking a German Language Curriculum Specialist who will design an engaging, structured, and outcome-driven A1–B2 level curriculum and work closely with our product & content teams to set it up in our app. This role is ideal for someone who understands modern language-teaching methods and can translate them into a digital learning experience.
Charter for this role:
• Design a comprehensive German language curriculum (A1–B2) aligned with CEFR standards.
• Create lesson plans, learning objectives, quizzes, assignments, and assessments for each level.
• Develop app-friendly content such as video scripts, practice worksheets, audio clips, interactive exercises, and conversation modules.
• Advise the product team on structuring the learning journey inside the Leap Scholar app.
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce high-quality learning assets.
• Ensure content is optimized for Indian learners, focusing on clarity, practicality, and engagement.
• Train internal teams/teachers (if required) on curriculum delivery.
• Review and iterate based on learner feedback and performance data
Ideal persona would be:
• C1/C2 proficiency in German (Goethe/ÖSD/TestDaF certification preferred).
• 3–5+ years of experience teaching German or developing curriculum for language-learning platforms.
• Strong understanding of CEFR levels and digital pedagogy.
• Experience creating structured, easy-to-follow learning modules for beginners.
• Ability to build interactive and engaging content for app-based learning.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with EdTech platforms is a strong plus.
• Experience recording voice/audio lessons.
• Understanding of student needs for study/work opportunities in Germany.
• Familiarity with app-based learning tools and LMS platforms.
