Sell commercial HVAC equipment across North Carolina as an Outside Sales Representative, using new business development and contractor relationships.
This field-based sales position focuses on developing territory opportunities and securing equipment packages for commercial construction projects. You will work with mechanical contractors, HVAC contractors, consulting engineers, design/build firms, and general contractors. Success requires HVAC industry knowledge, B2B relationship development, communication, negotiation, and independent territory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new business across commercial HVAC markets throughout North Carolina
- Build relationships with contractors, engineers, and commercial construction customers
- Sell RTUs, split systems, VRF, ductless, and heating equipment
- Identify projects requiring complete commercial HVAC equipment packages
- Manage opportunities through quotation, negotiation, and order placement
- Experience in HVAC sales, distribution, contracting, or related industries
- Understanding of residential or light commercial HVAC systems
- Proven ability to generate new business and build B2B relationships
- Experience selling to contractors or commercial customers
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
