Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be challenged to grow and develop your skills.

Responsibilities
  • Accounting/audit experience with non-profit organizations
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Review engagements prior to partner review to ensure quality of information
  • Identify and properly account for technical issues on each assigned engagement
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Prepare client billing timely and efficiently for review by Practice Area Leader
  • Promote efficient operation by scheduling and managing firm professionals
  • Meet with prospective clients and assist in proposal preparation
  • Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients
  • Support staff, seniors and supervisors by providing feedback and coaching
Qualifications
  • CPA certification
  • Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in accounting
  • 5-8 years assurance experience with non-profits in a CPA firm, with minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a Supervisor
  • Passionate about their work and eager to learn and grow
  • Membership in AICPA and NCACPA, as applicable
  • Proficiency in computers, accounting software programs and assurance software programs
  • Completion of career development CPE requirements designed to enhance management and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Creative and innovative, with a strong desire to make a positive impact
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Able to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
  • Valid driver’s license and good MVR
Essential

Physical Requirements
  • Fine hand manipulation in keyboarding 5-7 hours per day
  • Fine hand manipulation using calculator/adding machine 2-4 hours per day
  • Travel, as needed
