Revenue Accountant About the Role

We are looking for a Revenue Accountant with a foundational understanding of ASC 606 and a willingness to grow into a more advanced revenue accounting role. This position offers exposure to SaaS revenue processes, automation initiatives, and system improvements. Ideal candidates will have some experience with revenue recognition and a strong interest in learning and developing technical skills.

• Assist in reviewing customer contracts for ASC 606 considerations.
• Support month-end close activities, including revenue reporting and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations) to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Help implement process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce manual work.
• Participate in system-related projects, including testing and documentation.
• Respond to auditor inquiries and assist with drafting accounting memos.
• Contribute to scaling revenue processes as the organization grows.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Basic understanding of ASC 606 principles and revenue recognition concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with SaaS revenue accounting.
• Exposure to Workday Financials or Salesforce.
• CPA license or progress toward certification.
