Senior Accounting ManagerCPA Required | Private Equity Experience
Our client is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing core financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is responsible for managing the monthly close process, consolidating financial results, coordinating audits, and leading various accounting functions across domestic and international entities. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in financial reporting.

Responsibilities- Lead the monthly and quarterly close of the general ledger.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion.
- Oversee accounts payable, payroll, and travel & expense processes.
- Manage debt reporting, hedge accounting, and purchase accounting entries.
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts globally.
- Research and track differences between US GAAP and IFRS or local statutory accounting.
- Manage transfer pricing updates and cash repatriation strategies across subsidiaries.
- Support M&A activities including purchase accounting and integration.
- Ensure global compliance with account reconciliation policies.
- Mentor international controllers on best practices and internal controls.
- Approve exceptions to standard payment processes and ensure audit readiness.
- Supervise and develop accounting staff across multiple functional areas.
- Collaborate with finance, tax, and operational teams to support business initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements (e.g., ERP upgrades).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a fast‑paced or global environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial systems (e.g., Net Suite).
- Experience in software, technology, or multinational industries preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with hedge accounting and foreign currency transactions.
- Ability to manage cross‑border teams and navigate complex regulatory environments.
