Senior Accountant

• Own key components of the monthly and year‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Prepare and review internal financial statements and related reporting.
• Maintain and update financial schedules: prepaid expenses, property taxes, interest accruals, and debt amortization.
• Manage fixed asset accounting: capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Calculate inventory and COGS entries; partner with operations to analyze and resolve variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts.
• Support lease accounting and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards.
• Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls.
• Contribute to system upgrades and lead special projects at the request of finance leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus).
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong communicator who enjoys working cross‑functionally and adapting in a fast‑moving environment.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or product‑based company is preferred.
