Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to manage core financial operations. This is a high‑impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi‑entity environment and enjoys a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions for multiple business units, including cash management, accounts payable/receivable, month‑end close, and financial reporting
• Support financial close and reporting for additional entities within the portfolio
• Prepare and file regulatory tax reports (excise, sales & use, property, franchise, 1099s, etc.)
• Manage monthly reporting requirements with federal agencies for regulated product imports
• Collaborate with external auditors and respond to audit requests as needed
• Identify process improvements and support evolving business needs
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred or in process
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite;
  Net Suite experience preferred
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
• Effective communicator who works well across teams and at all levels of the organization
