Senior Internal Auditor

Our client is looking to add a Senior Internal Auditor to support the execution of the company's internal audit and risk management programs. This role will be responsible for conducting operational, financial, and compliance audits, evaluating internal controls, identifying process improvement opportunities, and partnering with business leaders to strengthen controls and mitigate risk.

• Plan and execute internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas of risk.
• Document audit findings and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Assist with SOX compliance, control testing, and remediation efforts.
• Analyze business processes and recommend enhancements to strengthen controls and drive efficiencies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support risk management initiatives.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, or a combination of both.
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit methodologies.
• Experience with SOX compliance and control testing preferred.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
