CPA Tax Accountant​/Tax Senior – Raleigh, North Carolina

This Raleigh CPA firm has been serving individuals and businesses in the area for decades, with a practice built around tax preparation and planning, financial and retirement planning, estate and trust planning, and business accounting. They are looking to add a C
PA Tax Accountant / Tax Senior who can step into a broad tax role and work on sophisticated individual and business matters.

• Prepare and review federal and state returns.
• Research complex tax issues.
• Respond to and resolve IRS and state notices and correspondence.
• Work with clients across industries including real estate, construction, professional services and closely held businesses.
• Support accounting and bookkeeping needs when required, including financial statements, reconciliations, general ledger work and reconstruction of books and records.

• CPA Active CPA license
• Approximately 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong individual and business tax experience
• Experience with HNW individuals, trusts/estates and partnerships
• Comfortable handling multi-state tax matters and researching complex tax issues
• Strong client-service and communication skills
