The Cost Accountant plays a pivotal role in the supply chain finance team, supporting various aspects of inventory accounting, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, forecasting, compliance, and operational reporting within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for detail-oriented finance professionals who thrive in cross-functional settings and are passionate about driving process improvements and financial transparency across the company’s supply chain and manufacturing operations.
As a Cost Accountant, you will collaborate closely with teams such as Manufacturing Operations, Supply Planning, Quality, Technical Operations, Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Customs Compliance, as well as external manufacturing partners. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation, product costing, financial reporting, and the implementation of robust internal controls. This position also supports both emerging biologics and established product portfolios, including the launch of new products and ongoing process enhancements.
This full-time Cost Accountant position offers a unique opportunity to leverage advanced digital finance tools such as SAP, TM1, Microsoft Copilot, and other technology platforms to automate reporting, support continuous process improvements, and provide actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a background in accounting or finance within a manufacturing context, and proficiency in modern reporting and analysis software.
By joining the finance team, you will contribute directly to the organization's ability to manage inventory effectively, maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. Your work will support ongoing collaborations with a wide range of business partners and play a key role in financial planning and analysis activities that underpin the company’s growth and success in the marketplace.
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting—preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector—are encouraged to apply. Professional certification such as CPA is preferred, and expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, and consolidated accounting is highly valued. If you are a proactive communicator who excels at making complex financial information accessible to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, this Cost Accountant role may be the perfect fit for you.
