Our client, a leader in the calibration, consulting and commissioning industry, is seeking a Calibration Technician (multiple levels) to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Process Team supporting various analytical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Calibration Technician I, II, III, and Senior Calibration Technician

Location

Holly Springs, North Carolina (Travel up to 50% may be required based on project and client needs)

Job Type: 6-month contract to hire

Schedule
: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Pay Range: Based on experience; see below

  • Technician I & II: $25–$35/hr.
  • Technician III: $35–$44/hr.
  • Senior Technician: $43–$50/hr.
What’s the Job?
  • Perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PMs) with accurate and timely GxP documentation.
  • Handle and maintain PCI and client-owned equipment and test instruments with care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and develop strong relationships through excellent customer service.
  • Identify and report safety issues, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements.
  • Support project planning, supply readiness, and assist in onboarding and mentoring as experience level increases.
What’s Needed?
  • Associate degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Electronics, or related technical field (Bachelor’s for Senior level) OR equivalent military training/experience.
  • Applicable experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, or Calibration (2+ years for Tech II, 4+ years for Tech III/Senior).
  • Knowledge of calibration concepts, GMPs, and Life Science industry regulations.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and manage small projects (higher levels require leadership and strategic skills).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%.
