A temporary Research Assistant is needed and the primary responsibilities involve utilizing GIS software for digitizing tasks, and efficiently managing and analyzing data in varied formats.
Requirements and Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and education/course work.
- Be highly motivated, with a strong organizational and communication skills and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Preferred skills include experience with Windows operating systems, knowledge of basic GIS principles, and experience with ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Ability to adequately use Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with food animal production, knowledge of spatial data, and a strong understanding of spatial analysis.
