Cooper Tacia General Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our projects within the environmental and infrastructure sectors, specifically focusing on wastewater and water treatment facilities. This role involves overseeing the construction of new plants, as well as the upgrades and expansions of existing infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
You will collaborate closely with engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure that each project aligns with our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities- Take charge of all phases of construction for water treatment projects, including wastewater treatment plant upgrades, new drinking water treatment facilities, and advanced pumping stations.
- Guide projects from initial site preparation through to final commissioning, ensuring adherence to rigorous timelines and budgets.
- Manage project budgets meticulously, tracking all expenditures and making necessary adjustments to avoid overruns.
- Drive cost‑effective construction practices while ensuring that quality and performance standards are never compromised.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, engineering teams, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors, facilitating effective communication and collaborative problem‑solving.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with applicable environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee the permitting process and ensure that all quality control measures are in place, from materials selection to final system testing.
- Anticipate potential project risks, including site conditions, weather impacts, and logistical challenges, and develop robust risk mitigation strategies.
- Minimum of 10 years in construction project management, with at least 3 years focused on managing wastewater and water treatment projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field. Equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies and systems.
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex projects, and foster strong client relationships.
Full-Time
Salary$140,000 – $150,000 per year, total compensation package (base salary + 3% project bonus package)
