Job Title: Superintendent – Commercial & Multifamily Construction

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

A leading general contractor active in the Raleigh market is seeking a skilled Superintendent to manage daily on-site operations for commercial and multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through final punch
• Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to plans, specs, safety protocols, and schedule
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure work meets quality and regulatory standards
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and project documentation
• Lead jobsite safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance
• Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial and/or multifamily construction
• Experience managing ground-up projects valued at $5M–$50M+
• In-depth knowledge of construction plans, documents, and building codes
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools preferred
• OSHA 30 certification required
