Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fantastic engineering company who is hiring for a CMT Technician to join their testing and inspections group. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay, working onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • This person will be responsible for inspections and daily field reporting at various work sites.
  • Routine testing of different construction materials such a soils, deep foundations, concrete, asphalt and masonry.
  • They will check that the components of each unique structure are assembled in a manner consistent with its plans and specifications.

    • Requirements:

  • Preferred certifications: NCDOT, ACI Field Tech Level 1, Nuclear Gauge User Certification, NICET Level 1 – Asphalts/Soils/Concrete.
  • Clear understanding of blueprints/plans.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Proficient utilizing basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction., multiplication and division.
  • Driver’s license is required.
