Superintendent - NC

A nationwide commercial and residential construction firm is hiring a Superintendent in Raleigh, NC. This role is essential for overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The Superintendent will manage teams and subcontractors while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Candidates should be prepared to navigate the challenges of demanding clients in a competitive environment.

Superintendent Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily operations of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage teams, including project managers, site superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily reporting and maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Handle hands-on tasks as needed, including installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with various teams on project specifications and requirements.
• Address client concerns and maintain strong relationships throughout project life cycles.
• Adapt to overnight work as required by specific project needs.

Superintendent Requirements:

• 10 years of experience as a Superintendent; less experience may be considered for exceptionally strong candidates.
• Proven experience in commercial construction projects.
• General contractor experience is essential.
• Experience managing larger projects, ideally in the range of $5M and above
• BA in construction management or business management preferred
• Municipal buildings would be helpful
• Experience with electrical components preferred
