About the Role

A well-established commercial general contractor with a strong presence in the Southeast is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial construction projects in the Raleigh area. This role is ideal for a superintendent who takes pride in jobsite leadership, quality execution, and delivering projects safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Review plans, specs, and schedules to ensure work is executed per contract
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field issues
• Partner with project management to maintain schedule, quality, and budget
• Conduct punch walks and ensure timely project closeout

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent
• Experience on commercial projects (office, healthcare, education, industrial, or mixed-use preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• OSHA 30 preferred
