Job OverviewMacallan Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and self-driven Contract Superintendent to join our Field Operations team. This is a full-time, traveling role, ideal for a construction professional who thrives working independently on out-of-state job sites. As the on-site leader, you'll coordinate subcontractors, manage construction schedules, and ensure all project components meet Macallan's quality and safety standards— even when the Project Manager is located remotely.

Key Responsibilities- Lead all on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project schedule and budget.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections.
- Maintain and update project schedules in collaboration with the remote Project Manager.
- Conduct daily quality control checks and resolve on‑site issues proactively.
- Act as the primary point of contact at the job site for clients, inspectors, and consultants.
- Submit accurate daily reports, logs, and project updates.
- Monitor material and equipment usage and identify potential change orders.
- Manage punch list completion and project closeout activities.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction, including supervisory roles.
- Strong ability to work independently, especially at out‑of‑state job sites without daily oversight.
- Excellent skills in reading construction schedules and blueprints.
- Familiarity with subcontractor sequencing and schedule management.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and inspectors.
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore or similar is a plus).
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively.

Full‑Time:
Monday‑Friday;
Extended hours and travel required depending on project location and deadlines.
Projects located out of state; this is a traveling superintendent role. Must be comfortable with remote site leadership and working away from home base for extended durations.
