Construction Partners and its family of operating companies build and maintain the roads, highways, and infrastructure that communities across the Sunbelt depend on every day. Behind every project are crews, plants, and people worth seeing, and we are looking for someone who can capture them at their best.
The Visual Content Lead is a hands‑on creative role for a hybrid shooter who is comfortable capturing both video and photography, does their best work in the field, and knows how to find the shot that tells the story of the work. You'll own video and photo capture across our growing family of operating companies, traveling to projects, plants, and events to document the people and the work that define who we are.
The video and photography you produce becomes the foundation for nearly everything we publish, and you'll work closely with the Creative Manager, the Social Media Lead, and leaders across the company to make sure it's ready when it's needed. With the independence to thrive on the road and the craft to deliver consistently strong visuals, you'll set the standard for how Construction Partners and our family of companies are seen.
- Shoot, edit, and color grade video and photography, delivering finished assets ready for use anywhere across the company.
- Plan and lead content trips to projects, plants, offices, and events, developing content wish lists, shot lists, and travel itineraries for each.
- Produce short- and long-form video from concept through edit, including interviews that put employees and leaders at ease on camera.
- Partner with leaders across the operating companies, project teams, and the Social Media Lead to find the projects, people, and stories worth capturing, and coordinate schedules and deliverables around them.
- Collaborate with the Creative Manager on larger video productions.
- A reel or portfolio showing video work, along with photography samples.
- Strong experience shooting and editing short- and long-form video, with an eye for composition and storytelling. Confident operating cameras manually and handling lighting and audio.
- Comfortable shooting photography alongside video.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Bridge.
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Experience planning travel itineraries and on-site capture schedules.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple brands and content streams at once and a disciplined approach to media backup and file management.
- Personable and proactive, comfortable working with crews, employees, and leaders at every level and location.
- Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently and adapt quickly when conditions change in the field.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time by car and air, including multi-day trips, with a valid driver's license.
- Experience in construction, industrial, or documentary-style content preferred.
- Lift and carry camera cases and production equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods across uneven, unpaved, and sloped ground at active job sites.
- Work outdoors in changing weather conditions and safely around active construction, heavy equipment, and traffic.
- Work early-morning, nighttime, and occasional weekend hours when project schedules require.
