Dental Hygienist – Raleigh Ridge (Part‑Time, Fridays)

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role will support our patients' long‑term oral health by providing preventive care and creating a welcoming experience. The Hygienist will work under general supervision from a dentist and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care.

• Prepare, disinfect, and fully stock the treatment room for each appointment
• Update patient health histories, take blood pressure, and gather visit information
• Educate patients about their oral health needs, treatment options, and long‑term outcomes
• Provide Soft Tissue Management (STM) and customize home‑care plans for periodontal patients
• Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain clean, organized, and professional treatment and lab areas
• Document patient conditions, medical/dental histories, treatment notes, and patient feedback
• Perform hygiene treatment procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, sealants, coronal polishing, and fluoride applications
• Manage and oversee non‑surgical periodontal therapy programs
• Expose digital radiographs
• Lead the preventive maintenance program and partner with the hygiene assistant on recall systems
• Maintain inventory control in hygiene rooms
• Sharpen and sterilize periodontal instruments
• Work independently with recurring and routine tasks
• Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies
• Support the office by helping earn 5‑star Google reviews through exceptional patient experiences
• Other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated excellence in planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Proficient in computer and digital systems with the ability to learn new software
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
• Consistently maintains a professional, patient‑focused demeanor and delivers compassionate care

• Graduation from a two‑to‑four‑year accredited Dental Hygiene Program with CEU certifications
• Current state licensure in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to lift 15–20 lbs

Location:

Raleigh, NC. Compensation: $79,000.00–$90,000.00 for 15 hours per week (Raleigh Ridge) and $55.00–$65.00 per hour for part‑time (Morrisville).
