Essential Duties- Work directly with clients in all phases of the design process – from the initial napkin sketch to opening the front door.
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, work plans, and contracts.
- Collaborate with other enthusiastic ISGers while leading design efforts to create inspiring and uplifting spaces to live, work, and play.
- Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards, and procedures with project managers and multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Maintain the quality control of drawings and specifications.
- Direct the development and preparation of project contract documents.
- Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and respond to any on‑site challenges.
- Help mentor and develop the next generation of designers and architects.
- Willingness to think bigger, better, and bolder to make a difference in our communities.
- 10+ years of professional design experience and licensed to practice architecture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture program.
- Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal media.
- Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums.
- Familiarity in Revit, Adobe Suite, and Sketch Up computer software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and participate with a variety of team members on different projects at varying levels of development.
