- Lead collaborative project teams with open communication and clear guidance for high performance, new design solutions, and project success
- Determine functional and spatial needs, design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, anticipated costs, and construction timeframe with customers
- Coordinate project layout and engineering for client approval
- Create construction contractor scale drawings and contracts
- Establish and monitor discipline programs
- Oversee construction contracts and plan compliance on‑site
- Make project plans and designs using computer‑aided design
- Attend internal and customer project meetings as appropriate
- Keep project team informed through meetings, minutes, and notes
- Manage junior designers' drawings and specs
- Work with team leaders and cross‑disciplinary teams during projects
- Communicate well with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and others
- Record allocated project conditions
- Mentor junior staff, providing feedback and assistance for skill and career development
$120,000 – $180,000
Qualifications- Healthcare experience is required
- Education:
Five‑year bachelor’s degree in architecture - Experience:
Minimum ten years’ experience in the A/E industry (six years licensed), with proven specific experience in healthcare projects - Computer skills:
Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite experience - Travel: up to 20% depending on project
- Licenses/Certifications:
State Architectural License, NCARB Certification, LEED or other certification (preferred)
- This is an in‑office position located in Phoenix, Arizona
