The Federal Work Study program provides need-based employment for college students. Work study positions are available on and off campus and are awarded based on financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. Responsibilities- Writes communications and/or marketing content that is clear, creative, brief, and persuasive
- Reviews web pages (and text in other formats), correcting errors, repairing hyperlinks and photo tags
- Supports coordinating and generating content ideas, slides for digital signage, photography, graphics production, and social media assets to support communications and marketing campaigns
- Supports the coordination of internal and external advertising campaigns to raise awareness of our efforts to students and/or the community
- Excellent communication, organizational, and personal interaction skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Comfortable and familiar with creating social media content for platforms and Abode products
- Understanding of how to use a smartphone for photo and video elements
- Ability to call student, faculty, staff, or business contacts on the phone to request information or schedule photo and/or video shoots
