Advanced Exterior Systems, a local architectural cladding design and fabrication firm, is seeking a qualified individual with experience in architectural drafting and detailing. This in‑person role is located in Raleigh, NC.
Not a remote position.
- Create and revise detailed architectural and cladding system drawings using CAD (e.g. AutoCAD) and other drafting tools.
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Field personnel to create effective integrated designs.
- Maintain extensive working knowledge of architectural drafting principles.
- Read and interpret architectural and/or structural plans & specs.
- Communicate professionally over phone and email.
- Work effectively in a production‑oriented atmosphere.
- Exhibit a friendly, professional, outgoing, team‑member mindset.
- Associate degree or certificate in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Technology, CAD Drafting, or related field, or equivalent drafting experience.
- Two years of experience in the CAD drafting industry.
- Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
