Ancillary Specialist (Designer III or IV)
Reports to:
VP of Design
Sales oriented designer to co-sell to win projects and help the organization achieve sales goals. The Ancillary specialist will have strong experience in our industry around ancillary products and social space environments and have ability to deliver knowledge-based expertise and consulting that adds value and differentiates Storr as a market leader.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Communicates/Collaborates Effectively
:
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to tailor message across a variety of audiences. Strong interpersonal skills; develops and maintains positive relationships internally and externally. Strong team player. - Strategizes and Problem Solves
:
Problem solving oriented; critical thinking skills; understands how their work relates to the whole; generates new ideas that add value; ability to seek out appropriate information to make effective decisions. - Demonstrates Accountability: Strong self discipline and motivation. Shows initiative, takes responsibility for work and actions, high level of integrity.
- Execution Management
:
Works quickly to get things done; uses resources effectively; detail oriented and high level of accuracy. Owns execution of tasks and demonstrates excellent follow through. Drives for Results and fosters a sense of urgency. Lead by example.
- 4-year Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree or balance of Associate Degree and applicable experience
- Furniture dealership background preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of specific industry experience
- CET Designer Software advanced experience or sim technology
- In‑depth knowledge of design trends and code requirements
- Demonstrated success in both hard skill + behavioral core strength/ attributes
- 4-year Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree or balance of Associate Degree and applicable experience
- Furniture dealership background required
- Minimum of 6 years of specific industry experience
- CET Designer Software expertise
- In‑depth knowledge of design trends and code requirements
- Demonstrated success in both hard skill + behavioral core strength/ attributes
