Overview
Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – UNC Boylan Healthcare at North Hills. UNC Boylan Healthcare at North Hills is seeking a full-time primary care physician, BC/BE in Family Medicine. Focus on preventive health care to detect and modify risk factors before they lead to serious illness in adults 18 years and older. The practice offers a wide range of on-site services with advanced technology and equipment.
They are recognized by the American Heart Association Heart/Stroke program and the American Diabetes Association Physician program, and have served the community for almost 50 years.
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adults 18+, with emphasis on preventive medicine.
- Deliver acute illness care and management of chronic health conditions.
- Utilize on-site services and diagnostics (on-site x-rays, on-site laboratory, ultrasounds, nuclear treadmill testing, pulmonary function testing, etc.).
- Perform procedures as needed (biopsies, laceration repair, mole/skin lesion removal, IV therapy, physical exams).
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Training from an accredited Family Medicine program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted NC Medical License or ability to obtain one.
- DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification preferred; board certification in Family Medicine.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
- North Carolina Medical License, DEA License; BLS/ACLS where applicable.
- Prior experience in family medicine is preferred.
Location:
Raleigh, NC area. Work Type:
Full-time. Standard hours per week: 40. Onsite work schedule Monday through Friday (day job). Exempt from overtime.
