Physician, Gastroenterology

Overview

Wake Med Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Our organization places a high value on quality, caring and compassionate physicians and we are committed to providing state-of-the-art health care to our patients and the community we serve.

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Gastroenterologist. You will be part of a high-volume and high-producing Gastroenterology practice, consisting of 8 Gastroenterologists and supported by 10 APPs, 4 Nurses and 8 Medical Assistants. Our physicians provide inpatient critical care at Wake Med as well as outpatient services and procedures. Locations in Raleigh, North Raleigh and Cary.

• Provide quality clinical care to patients cared for by the division.
• Provide teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APPs within the division.
• Ensure appropriate coding and corporate compliance.
• May be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice.
• Report directly to the Director of the assigned division and support the mission values and management of Wake Med Physician Practices and Wake Med.
