North Carolina State University is looking for an instructor to teach American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and AED courses to students and club sport officers. This temporary role allows you to share your expertise and empower participants with lifesaving skills.

Job Duties
- Facilitate high‑quality American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and AED courses.
- Provide engaging instruction and motivation, translating classroom theory to practical settings.
- Assess participant performance, give constructive feedback, and ensure all certification requirements are met.
- Stay current with American Red Cross best practices.
- Set up and break down classrooms, prepare manikins, AED trainers, and first aid supplies.
- Maintain and organize participant information and paperwork.
- Accurately record course rosters and submit digital certification requests via the Red Cross Learning Center.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment in accordance with standards.
- Enforce Wellness and Recreation policies and area‑specific guidelines.
- Apply emergency action plan knowledge for risk management.
- Attend required training and meetings.
- Develop professional relationships with coworkers, participants, and guests.
- Perform additional duties that support departmental operations.
- Current full‑time NC State student (at least 12 undergraduate or 9 graduate credit hours).
- Current American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, AED Instructor certifications or obtain before start.
