Base pay: $60,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr

• Model lessons in classrooms daily/weekly.
• Facilitate the intellectual and professional development of teachers.
• Create positive relationships with teachers, administrators and coaches.
• Communicate and demonstrate research‑based instructional practices that result in increased student performance and improved classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the community.
• Encourage professional growth and provide organized, individual and/or group learning opportunities for teachers.
• Assist teachers with designing instructional decisions based on assessment data and culturally responsive practices.
• Assist teachers with resources, materials, tools, information, etc. to support classroom instruction and planning, including new resources.
• Assist teachers in creating materials that are in alignment with curriculum.
• Instruct and support teachers with curriculum software products, and classroom/curriculum related technologies.
• Provide support in analyzing student assessment data.
• Support, implement and assess various instructional programs and program effects on student achievement.
• Develop coaching plans for teachers to ensure student improvement.
• Provide mentor support to beginning teachers.
• Participate in goal/plan setting and evaluation.

• Ability to multitask, manage large projects, and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to keep up‑to‑date with current events and technologies in the business and postsecondary sectors.
• Ability to maintain curricular and industry knowledge.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Ability in using student‑level data to guide instructional decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated strength in organization, communication skills and efficiency in meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to function as a positive collaborative member of a team.
• Knowledge of using a variety of assessment tools.
• Knowledge of researched‑based instructional strategies that engage all students.
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to assume a leadership position.

• Bachelor’s Degree in education from an accredited institution.
• Teaching Certification in respective state.
• Minimum five (5) years teaching experience.

• Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or equivalent.
• Previous academic coaching or teacher leadership experience.
• Minimum five (5) years teaching experience.
