Job Duties

The Department of Performing Arts and Technology at North Carolina State University seeks applications for part‑time lecturers in the areas of music theory, aural skills, musicology, and ethnomusicology to provide semester‑long instruction in a classroom setting. University classes typically meet 2‑3 times weekly for 3 hours. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses while grading and mentoring students.

This position is part‑time and is based on need and availability. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates should specify their academic area(s) of expertise.
