Beaverton School District is hiring a Para educator II to assist teachers with instructional delivery, classroom management, and student support for students age 5–21.

• Assist in academic instruction and content presentation in individual and small group settings.
• Implement behavior management plans and assist in living skill development.
• Prepare and implement instructional materials using technology and assistive devices.
• Supervise student activities on campus, in community and bus transportation.
• Collect data and record student performance using District systems.
• Provide physical support as needed, including lifting, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to support student success.

• Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma/GED and passing state assessment if no degree.
• Valid Oregon behavioral intervention training certificate prior to start and ongoing.
• Knowledge of child development principles, instructional techniques, and behavior modification.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Basic office computer skills.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license required.

• Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency.

• Part‑time, 10‑month school year, 1‑30 working days, 8:30‑13:30.
• High degree of mobility, indoor/outdoor, variable weather.
