Field Service Engineer Supervisor

Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and installers to wire and pressurize High Voltage GIS equipment. Interpret and analyze technical drawings to understand installation processes and procedures. Maintain a safe and clean installation environment following Siemens Energy installation guidelines to ensure high quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and installers to wire and pressurize High Voltage GIS equipment.
• Interpret and analyze technical drawings to understand installation processes and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean installation environment following Siemens Energy installation guidelines to ensure high quality standards.
• Perform precise wiring and pressurization of High Voltage GIS equipment, requiring strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Close communication with your supervisor, lead, and project managers.
• Provide guidance for engineering teams for secondary, primary and civil portions of the projects.
• Ensure installation of equipment is on time.
• Support service projects of Siemens Energy Systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• HV substation experience required.
• GIS supervision experience > 2 years.
• Basic knowledge of HV GIS commissioning preferred.
• The position can be based anywhere in the US; however, it will require 80–90% travel across North America.
• SE HV Supervision certificate or equivalent.
