- Supervise the execution of structural engineering projects.
- Manage workload by coordinating with clients, overseeing the design process, and coordinating with the design team.
- Serve as the Engineer of Record with engineer seals on assigned projects.
- Responsible for the quality of the work performed, client service, reputation of the company, contract management, and project profitability.
- Assist Practice and Managers with staff development, identify training needs, and mentor Project Engineers and Graduate Engineers while working on assigned projects.
- Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and methods required to plan, design, and detail the structural systems of buildings and other structures.
- Advanced knowledge of local, state, and national building and material codes, including but not limited to ASCE7, IBC, NDS, AISC, AISI, TMS, and ACI codes.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and preparation of construction documents of building structural systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure required.
