Senior Project Geologist–EIS Holdings, LLC
EIS Holdings, LLC is a leading provider of environmental consulting services in the petroleum industry. We are committed to providing top‑tier, sustainable, and cost‑effective environmental compliance and remediation services to our clients. Our retail petroleum clients start with compliance—we complete inspections and testing to ensure they operate under all regulatory requirements. If an issue is discovered, we walk our clients through the regulatory framework, acting as the liaison between our client and the regulatory agency(ies).
Our team of scientists, geologists, and engineers collect soil and groundwater samples to determine if a release to the environment has occurred, and if so, what the extent of the impacts to soil, groundwater, surface water, or soil vapor are. Once a site is fully assessed, we create a remedial plan to clean up the impacts and then implement remedial efforts and any associated operations and maintenance activities.
We self‑perform most assessment and remedial tasks through our field services division, and complete all required reporting, which summarizes all our assessment and remedial efforts.
The position we are currently looking to fill is for a Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background in petroleum assessment and remediation. Experience with NC‑DEQ is a huge plus and essentially a requirement. The role will be the senior reviewer/technical expert for a portfolio of retail petroleum projects, working with our team of project managers and field staff. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are ideal.
