MMT2, Position Type Temporary. The Visiting Research Scholar will join Dr. Martin Thuo’s Research Group and the Center for Complex Particle Systems to conduct research, specifically on the subject of additive manufacturing and the fabrication of complex metal particles.

Work Schedule:

M-F, 30 hours per week between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Time limited:

Working Title:

Visiting Scholar.

• Fabricating metal particles using facilities in Prof. Thuo’s laboratory
• Facilitating the 3D printing of particles and characterizing resulting microstructures, mechanical properties and composition gradients
• Facilitating the 3D printing of complex metal particles to control microstructure and mechanical properties
• Conducting research relevant to the group’s focus on complex metal particles, their microstructures, mechanical properties and beyond
• Assists in preparing presentations and writing proposals

• Minimum Experience/
