Responsibilities
- Design structural layouts for residential and light commercial structures, including foundation and peripheral structures such as retaining walls.
- Perform site inspections to resolve construction problems and monitor for code compliance.
- Use software tools such as AutoCAD, Enercalc, and MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Must hold NC EI Certification.
- 1–2 years’ experience a plus.
- Strong math and analytical skills, communication and writing skills, and experience in the use of AutoCAD.
