Salary $110,000 - $135,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Lead BAS Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our company, providing expert knowledge and technical skills to our control systems. As a Lead BAS Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) that increase operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve building performance.

• Lead the design and implementation of building automation systems (BAS) based on project specifications and requirements.
• Provide expert guidance to the engineering team on the installation, programming, and commissioning of BAS controls.
• Generate controls submittals and supervise programming of systems.
• Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and timeline.

• Provide technical training and support to team members and clients on the use and maintenance of control systems.
• Keep abreast of latest trends and advancements in the field of building automation and control systems.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configuration details, and operational manuals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing building automation systems (BAS).
• Proven expertise with Tridium Niagara platform.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using computer software and applications related to BAS controls, including AutoCAD, MS Project, and others.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to building automation systems.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of building automation and control systems.
