• Design and oversee the installation of HVAC systems for commercial projects, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Carry out load calculations to determine HVAC system requirements.
• Participate in the design-build process, collaborating with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Develop and implement innovative and efficient strategies for HVAC system design and installation.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure HVAC systems are installed correctly and functioning optimally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to HVAC systems.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, costs, and outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to HVAC and MEP.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on HVAC and/or MEP projects.
• Proven experience in design-build HVAC/Mechanical projects.
• Proficiency in load calculations and HVAC system design.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to HVAC and MEP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
