Product Demonstrator Part Time – 8223
A part‑time Product Demonstrator position with Product Connections, a subsidiary of Acosta Group.
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.
Location:
Various store locations (e.g., Holly Springs, NC).
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintaining a professional appearance.
Responsibilities- Acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives).
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet and navigate company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF).
Education/
Experience:
High school diploma (or GED); one‑to‑three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push/pull a wheeled cart, prepare foods using appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
