Raleigh Red Oaks Play‑by‑Play Broadcaster

The Raleigh Red Oaks are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Play‑by‑Play Broadcaster to deliver live game broadcasts throughout the season for all home games (June and July, ~20 games). This role is responsible for accurately calling the action, telling the story of the game, and providing an informative and entertaining experience for listeners and viewers across team broadcast platforms.

• Provide live, play‑by‑play coverage of Raleigh Red Oaks games
• Accurately describe game action, player performance, and key moments in real time
• Prepare in advance by researching teams, players, statistics, and storylines
• Collaborate with color commentators, producers, and broadcast staff
• Maintain a professional, consistent on‑air presence throughout broadcasts
• Represent the Red Oaks brand positively on broadcasts and at team events

• Strong verbal communication and storytelling skills
• Deep understanding of baseball rules, strategy, and terminology
• Ability to think quickly and communicate clearly in a live environment
• Comfortable with broadcast equipment and production workflows (preferred)
• Prior play‑by‑play or broadcasting experience preferred

• Must be available for scheduled games, including evenings, weekends, and select team events
